About Us

The Ballyfermot Drug Task force recognised that a drug rehabilitative project was essential for the Ballyfermot area where there is currently an estimated 600 – 1000 people using heroin.  One thousand places for people with drug problems have been created nationally on CE and Ballyfermot was allocated 100 of these places and the idea of Fusion was born.

It was established in 1999 in partnership with FAS, the Community, SWAHB and the Drug Task Force.  Fusion Project will also be supporting the probation service in providing line management for Prison Liaison worker.  Fusion is currently supported by BLDTF, FAS and DEPT.
